In one line

One thumb, one flick: chain swishes and set the ball on fire.

In one paragraph

RIMFIRE is street basketball for one thumb. Flick the ball at a scrap-metal hoop in a court under the city. Drop it in without touching the rim and you start a streak; three in a row and the ball catches fire, so every basket counts double until you miss. The hoop does not stay still for long, and Dozer, the big defender, guards it the whole time. Rounds last thirty seconds. There are no ads, no purchases and no internet connection.

Features

  • One gesture: flick up to shoot; direction aims, length sets power.
  • Thirty-second rounds; every swish adds time.
  • A hoop that slides at 10 points and speeds up at 25.
  • Dozer: on court all round, jumping to block from 50 points, always after a crouch.
  • A camera that reacts: a kick on release, a shake on the rim, slow motion on a perfect shot.
  • Two hoops, nine achievements, left- or right-handed layout.
  • Collects nothing: one permission (vibration), no network access.
