RIMFIRE

The game

Privacy policy

Effective date: 6 October 2026

RIMFIRE ("the game") is published by Indie App Studios ("we"). This policy covers the game. The website has its own short policy.

What the game collects

Nothing. The game does not collect, store on our servers, or share any personal information.

  • It has no account or sign-in.
  • It does not connect to the internet.
  • It contains no advertising and no analytics or tracking software.
  • It does not read your contacts, location, photos, microphone, camera or files.

What stays on your device

The game saves a small amount of information on your own device so it can remember it between sessions:

  • your best score;
  • which achievements you have unlocked;
  • your settings (sound, music, vibration, pause button side, hoop style);
  • how many shots you have taken, so the first-time hint stops appearing.

This information never leaves your device. Uninstalling the game deletes it.

Permissions

The game asks for one permission: vibration, used for short pulses when the ball hits the rim or goes in. You can turn vibration off in the game.

Children

The game is suitable for children and is offered to them. It follows Google Play's Families Policy:

  • it does not collect personal information from children, or from anyone;
  • it does not use an advertising ID or any other device identifier;
  • it shows no advertising;
  • it has no chat, no links to websites or social networks, and no way to contact other players;
  • it has no purchases.

Parents and guardians: there is nothing to switch off and nothing for a child to share. If you have a question, write to the address below.

Changes

If a future version adds anything that changes the answers above (for example online leaderboards, advertising or purchases), this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the date at the top will change.
